Cavalry saber made according to the pattern from 1917, a saber given to Józef Piłsudski by Polish cavalrymen. Colloquially known as Radziwiłłówka, from the name of the family sponsoring the gift. This model was made in the armorer’s workshop of G. Borowski in Warsaw. The blade engraved with the inscrition GOD HONOR HOMELAND, also has a stamp of G. Borowski in Warsaw.
